Reporting directly to the Head of Group Technical you will play a vital role in the food safety, compliance and consumer arenas working closely with operational, food and commercial teams as well as other stakeholders across the business to ensure that our consumers receive a first class experience of COOK and that internal processes, controls and ambitions are constantly improving.

Technical Manager Central Support at Cook B Corp in Sittingbourne, Kent

The Group Technical Manager will be an accomplished leader with a wealth of experience gained in a similar environment. An excellent communicator with the ability to navigate the complex world of legal requirement, commercial need, science and case law to ensure that COOKs products and services are industry leadingYou will also ensure that the broader business is kept informed of regulatory and company compliance and performance through analysis, communication, reports and pro-active project management and leadership.

Drive a company wide safety culture ensuring that our food and our people are as safe as they can be Manage and develop the group team to ensure that we have the capability to deliver the expected safety and technical diligence required to satisfy our ambition Protect our unique culture through clear and open leadership, ensuring our values are clear and genuinely lived in all our relationship Leadership:

Job Requirements

HACCP level 3 or above,
Level 4 Food Safety
Internal auditing / auditing experience / qualification
Food science degree or equivalent
Leadership experience – the ability to lead a multidisciplined team
Specification experience
Legal labels knowledge
Nutrition background
